Partnerships

Local Garden Journal considers collaborations that fit its interest in gardens, plants, garden history, and the experience of visiting outdoor spaces. A partnership should offer readers a clear reason to look closer.

Possible collaborations

We may consider clearly defined editorial projects, educational features, event or garden visit information, and relevant partner placements. A proposal should state its subject, intended audience, proposed format, and any payment, products, access, or other support involved.

How partner material is handled

Partner material and sponsored work are labelled plainly. A placement is not an independent endorsement, and payment does not guarantee a particular editorial conclusion. We retain control over wording and placement, and may decline proposals that do not suit the publication or give readers a clear understanding of the relationship.

Send a proposal

Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Include enough detail for us to understand the idea and the relationship being proposed. We do not imply a partnership unless one has been agreed.

Our point of view

A garden rewards a second look

We believe that noticing a garden closely is its own pleasure. There is always another line, leaf, or old idea to discover.
